Power just went out but fortunately the computers are on backup battery power. Whew.
I did the anesthesia today as Mary left today–it was very sad to see her go! Phil and I got into a routine and really did well together. We were only going to do 5 or 6 but ended up doing 10 cases! It was good to be done early though. The immigration department came to visit the clinic today to see if everyone had their visa’s; we were all in order as Paula had all our passports and paperwork. Some of the English doctors were a bit nervous as they didn’t have their CTA volunteer visas so they stayed in the rooms so as not to be seen. Fortunately no one was fined and or sent out! Tonight we pack after eating; many are buying a lot of baskets so we will be loaded. The safari guys are already here and will be picking us all up at 730 with leave time at 8–hopefully!
