[Stay tuned for updates from the Safari team, Zanzibar team, and pictures from Kilimanjaro!]
We have all arrived home safely, but I think each team member would admit they left part of their heart back in Tanzania. We are attempting to catch up on sleep and return to our normal daily lives, which will never quite be the same after eating, living and walking alongside our Tanzanian friends. It was a delight to work with each of the team members – we all worked together with joy as a united team. We have had several emails from our interpreters and today one wrote: “thanks for everything Jeff..i just don’know why I keep thanking you guys. In one way or the other u changed my life, I learnt so much from you while you wer here’. (sic)
Wow – great photos. It’s so nice to see the faces of the people you treated. Glad you are all home safely and adjusting the the culture shock. I enjoyed this blog so much!
Beautiful pictures, beautiful people – both you & your Tanzanian friends!!
Loved the blog, thank you!!
I also so enjoyed the blog and the photos are a special treat. Thanks for sharing your journey with us.
So great to see your pictures!! Makes me eager to return, just wondering if that new anesthesia gas machine is in service yet??
I for sure have to connect with the Kilimanjaro treking set, our group of 11 Midwesterners is heading there in January of 2013.
Keep up your great work and we all appreciate the time you take to inform the rest of us!
