Team 2 Finally heading to Ethiopia

  1. I often tell my kids that “happiness is a choice.” They often give me a grumpy face when I say that 🙂 But thanks everyone for choosing to smile in spite of the circumstances and travel delays!!! Praying that the rest of your travels are uneventful and you arrive in Addis safe & sound, and able to (finally) get a good night’s rest! Keep your joyful and flexible spirit – it will serve you and others well in the days to come.

  2. Oh my! Patience is “the name of the game” when flying these days! “Hang in there!” It’ll all be worth it once you get there!

  3. Good luck to team 2 and their travels, hopefully “smooth sailing” from here on out. Hard to believe that team 1 is starting to wrap up their adventure already. From the words that our family has been reading it sounds like an amazing trip where a group of people from La Crosse have a huge impact on the lives and well being of those at Project Mercy and the surrounding area. We are all so proud of the hard work and dedication that GHS employees put forth to make this happen year after year. Making memories not only for yourselves but for many around the globe. Also a surprise call from gadget girl was also a huge highlight for the Finch family today, thank you for the call and good luck with the packing! Can’t wait till the next post!

  4. Yikes, Team Two! We hope you are there by now, and have found relief from your long trek, joy in meeting your companions, and are already emerging from jet-lag. Thank you so much for doing this important, very valuable medical mission! Best wishes for your days and all your endeavors there. We look forward to your posts and the stories you have to tell! Keep on, more soon, John
